OUR GLASS: A 1940/50′s inspired Video Editorial

OUR GLASS

Inspired by the return of 40s-style fashion this season, ‘Our Glass’ tells a story of women that are trapped in time. It draws attention to temporal circularity, both in fashion and the world at large. Beyond the confines of the house, everything has evolved. Inside, however, the women still follow their established routine.

Styled with original vintage clothing from the 1940s, and set in an ultramodern glass house, this video editorial is a conceptual exploration of identity and reflection. Without the existence of time constructs to place us and measure our progress, we would ask ourselves, what is real?

“Day by day and almost minute by minute the past was brought up to date.” George Orwell – from 1984
